USB Device Server For MAC (beta)
Move Trusted Files Out of Quarantine
If after installation, you received an error message that says an app "is damaged and can't be opened" and "you should move it to the Bin" with a handy button for doing so? If you trust the file, you can get around this with a simple Terminal command.
Assuming you trust the origin of the app that you have downloaded (for example, a piece of software directly from a developer you trust) you can attempt to ignore the warning and open the file anyway.
To do this, open a new Terminal window and type (or paste the following command):
Open Terminal
On your Mac, do one of the following:
- Click the Launchpad icon
in the Dock, type Terminal in the search field, then click Terminal.
- In the Finder
, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, then double-click Terminal.
Command
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/USUSB.app
